With the development of Digital
X-rays patient care and safety have been greatly improved. The Digital
X-ray sensor requires far less radiation to obtain its image of the
tooth, thereby exposing the patient to less radiation. We see the
image on the computer screen within five seconds of it being taken.
Digital X-rays have also eliminated the need for the many chemicals
involved in the traditions X-ray film process.
